About me

I love making things for humans to see, feel and hear. I’ve been told I’m a good listener with great empathy. Through that lens, I have spent much of my career understanding and shaping how I(we) might contribute to the greater good through purposeful and authentic experiences. At least that’s always been my goal.

I started my career many years ago in graphic design and never looked back. Starting in print and quickly adopting digital in the late 90s, I moved into agency life working for various advertising and marketing agencies such as Fallon and Risdall. Having served as a Creative Director for many years, I shifted my focus to the experience (UX) craft in the mid-2000s and found my true north. Spring forward to 2024, I’m now looking for my next adventure in some form of product leadership, strategy, design and/or research where I can contribute, collaborate and ultimately create value for both users and businesses to improve the user experience. I am also passionate about managing and mentoring the future makers and thinkers of our unique craft.

I’m a father and partner living in Minneapolis with our two cats, one Shiba Inu and, too many vinyl records.
